Add-on module

Mass notifications by text and voice

Reach the right group in a moment's notice — a weather closure, a schedule change, a service outage, or a routine reminder — without a bundled suite or a multi-year contract.

What's included

Text broadcasts to any audience

Send one message to a group, a saved list, or your whole contact base — from the same workspace your team already texts from.

Voice notifications

Reach people who answer calls but miss texts, using the same audience targeting as your text sends.

Targeted groups

Narrow to the people actually affected — a grade, a route, a department, a client segment — so alerts stay relevant.

Routine or emergency

Mark a send as an emergency when it matters. Emergency sends require an extra typed confirmation; routine updates stay fast.

Saved templates

Keep your common messages ready to go so nobody writes an urgent notice from scratch under pressure.

Test sends and reporting

Send to a short test list first, then review delivery results for the full broadcast afterward.

Opt-outs respected

Contacts who have unsubscribed are excluded automatically, so consent is handled without a manual checklist.

How teams use it

In a school district

A late bus goes to that route's families only. A closure goes district-wide as an emergency send. A picture-day reminder goes to two grades as a routine text.

In a business or firm

An office closure reaches all staff and scheduled clients. A service window notice goes to one customer segment. Appointment reminders go out as routine sends.

Common questions

Can we send to a specific group instead of everyone?
Yes. Audiences are targeted by group, list, or role, so you can reach one grade, one bus route, one team, or your whole contact list.
What's the difference between a routine and an emergency notification?
Both use the same send tool. Marking a notification as an emergency requires an extra typed confirmation before it goes out, so urgent alerts are deliberate while routine updates stay quick to send.
Can we send voice notifications, not just text?
Yes. Voice broadcasts can be sent to the same audiences as text notifications, from the same workspace.
How do we know a notification actually landed?
Each send has delivery reporting, and you can run a test send to a small set of numbers before sending to the full audience.
What happens to contacts who opted out?
Contacts who replied with a carrier keyword such as STOP are excluded from later sends automatically, and their status is visible to admins.
Is this included by default?
Mass notifications is an add-on module enabled per workspace, so you only pay for it if you use it.
